Age Groups

0-18 m, 19-35 m, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-24

Compete as of August 1, 2009 or move up into your current age division if you wish to.

Beauty

Judging will be based on Facial Beauty, Personality and Stage Presence (Ages 0-4)/Personality and Modeling (Ages 5-24) and Overall Impression.  We are a Total Package System.  Pageant Dresses are HIGHLY recommended!  Pageant Hair and Makeup is HIGHLY recommended!  Contestants may model a back or front “T” pattern. You must put on your application if you are walking the back or front “T” pattern.  This will ensure that the emcee knows the pattern your child will be walking. 

Jungle wear or Outfit of Choice

Contestants may enter Jungle Wear OR Outfit of Choice OR both events (lowest score of the two will be dropped).  Judging for each event will be based on the Creativity of Outfit, Personality and Stage Presence (Ages 0-4)/Personality and Modeling (Age 5-24) and Overall Impression.  There will be a winner per division for each event receiving a Nice Prize.   No Pro-Am modeling.  Upbeat music will be provided for everyone, no one may provide their own music.  Contestants may model a back or front “T” pattern.  You must put on your application if you are walking the back or front “T” pattern.  This will ensure that the emcee knows the pattern your child will be walking. 

Glitz or Natural Photogenic

Contestants may enter Glitz OR Natural Photogenic OR both events (lowest score of the two will be dropped).  Submit either a Black and White or Color Photo.  Please have all photos labeled with Contestant’s First Name and Age Division ONLY!  You must also label on the photos whether the photo is a Glitz or Natural Photo.  This will ensure that the photo is judge in the proper category.  There will be a winner per division for each event receiving a Nice Prize.  Photos for ages 0-4 years will be due by 9:00 am, Photos for ages 5-10 years will be due by 12:00 pm, and photos for ages 11-24 years will be due by 3:00 pm.  If photos are not received by the time indicated they will not be judged.   

Tentative Schedule of Events

Fan’s Favorite Queen - We will award ONE young lady the Fan’s Favorite title.  The young lady with the most votes will receive an AWESOME Crown, Monogrammed Rumble in the Jungle Sash.  You can collect votes from now until the end of the pageant.  We will award this title during the  Last Crowning.  (There will be a minimum of 75 votes to qualify for Fan’s Favorite Queen).

I understand that Jennifer’s Pageants Staff/Personnel, Jennifer Moseley, Pam Powell and/or place of the pageant are not responsible for any loss, accident or injury incurred while traveling to, from or during this event.  I understand that I/my child must conduct ourselves in a good sportsmanlike manner at all times.  If I/my child break any rules of this competition we will be asked to leave and forfeit any titles without recourse or refund of fees paid.  ALL Fees are non-refundable unless event is canceled.  I assure you all judges are qualified and doing the best job possible.  The judges’ decisions are final.  No scores will be discussed prior to crowning.  Scores will be given out after crowning is complete.  No one is to interact with judges prior to or during the pageant.  You may address them in a respectable manner after crowning if you wish and if they are available.  I give permission for my child’s name and photo to be used in advertising as needed. ….I also understand the following rules listed below.

·          I understand that the Director reserves the right to pro-rate the Supreme Titles Savings Bonds if the pageant has less than 30 contestants entered. 

·          I understand that the pageant is open to anyone residing in any State within the United States.

·          I understand that unless I change age breakdowns I may not compete in the 2009 State Pageant if I won the Grand Supreme Title in 2008.

·          I understand that my child may compete in her age division as of August 1, 2009 or may move up.

·          I understand that if any age questions arise, I must show a certified birth certificate for my child.

·          Each pageant contestant must be ready to go onstage when called for group line-up. If you are late or unable to be located, and the pageant is not at fault, the Pageant will go on without you. If you miss group line-up, we will not have another one to accommodate you. The pageant will NOT be given any refunds to anyone late or unable to be located for group line-up or misses their turn onstage.  Please make sure your child is ready to go onstage and able to be located for lineup when she is due to go onstage. Beauty will be first followed by Jungle wear.

·          Ages 0-6 years must wear a short dress. Ages 7-12 years may wear a short or long dress.  Ages 13-24 years must wear a long dress.  We are a Total Package System.  Pageant Dresses are HIGHLY recommended!

·          The pageant score sheets will be handed out to the Parent/Legal Guardian of the contestant ONLY!

·          I understand first in hand per division will decide their place in line up, everyone else will follow. 

·          The Pageant will not consist of personal interview, mandatory appearances or on stage questions.

·          I understand that all CASH prizes and Awards will be given onstage during CROWNING!

·          I understand that my daughter must stay for individual and group photos after CROWNING!

·          I understand that names of contestants or how many contestants in an age division will not be given out.   Parents/Contestants change their minds all the time so we will not be responsible for giving out false information. 

·          Personal cameras are not permitted inside the auditorium.

·          I understand that everyone must pay a $10.00 (in advance) and $15.00 the day of the pageant door arm band fee to enter the pageant.  I understand that I or anyone in my party must wear their arm band at all times or will not be allowed into the auditorium.  Anyone losing a door arm band must purchase a replacement.

·          Checks will not be accepted for anything pertaining to the pageant after October 16, 2009.  A $40 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

·          I understand that I can pay the entry fees through paypal at jennifermoseley@windstream.net, but I understand that I must add 4% to the total when paying via paypal.  No paypal payments will be accepted after October 23, 2009.  Credit Cards/Debit Cards are accepted through paypal ONLY!

·          Photos will not be judged unless they are received by the time stated on the above application.  Photos may be mailed or turned in at Registration on October 24.
